MAP Venture Partners aim to be the first firm entrepreneurs think of when they look to create and grow their new businesses. Our firm is dedicated to integrity, and strives to do business in an entrepreneur-friendly and hands-on manner.
Our team will work intensively with the entrepreneurs & boards of our portfolio companies, providing significant IT, marketing, sales and business management expertise to build value within their companies. In taking your business global, the deployment of such expertise is crucial:
- We provide a range of strategic services to companies grappling with their strategic landscape (e.g. commercialization priorities for addressable market segments, market entry and penetration strategies, IP exploitation and fundraising);
- For a small number of truly outstanding technology opportunities we will undertake these critical services on a “sweat” investment basis - getting the company venture investment ready; and
- With these companies in which we take such an investment, we often also get actively involved in the ongoing strategy and operations of that company. One or more of our team will spend a significant proportion of their time working with the company to develop its business and closing those all important initial deals as well as grooming the company for further investment, scanning for acquisitions and eventual exit.
